This product is a resin sculpture crafted based on the client’s iconic image.
This product is a resin sculpture crafted based on the client’s iconic image. The client’s ingenious idea was to design it as a bobble head figurine, which significantly enhances the product’s fun and uniqueness.
The client only provided 2D graphic designs. We transformed the iconic image from 2D to 3D through hand sculpting.
The client had extremely high requirements for the restoration accuracy of the figurine. During the sculpture production process, customer gave us very helpful comments on how to revise and modify clay sculpture to make it closely match the original 2D design to the greatest extent possible.
After the sculpture was completed, we proceeded to create the mold and casting.
When we have castings, we did color painting according to 2D design. During this phase, we also made multiple revisions and adjustments to the painting details based on the client’s feedback
One of the key highlights of this product is that, to reflect its premium quality, we used water transfer printing technique for the logo.
Another critical difficulty and focus in developing this product is the shape of reamer(holding in his hand)
If reamer was made of resin, it would be difficult to ensure its shape accuracy, and it would also be prone to breakage.After times experiments, we decided to make the reamerof alloy and then glued to main body of the sculpture.
